Ivy Tech to host Express Enrollment events Dec. 5 in Kokomo, Logansport

Events offer help to begin classes on Jan. 13

KOKOMO – Ivy Tech Community College locations in Kokomo and Logansport are among more than 25 sites across Indiana that are hosting Express Enrollment Days from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5. Express Enrollment provides prospective students a convenient way to complete outstanding enrollment steps with the assistance of Ivy Tech representatives.

“Ivy Tech is a great place to take the next steps to a successful future … and we have a great list of 8- and 16-week courses that begin in January,” said Kates Brommeland, director of enrollment and admissions. “Express Enrollment Day is an opportunity to learn about course options and complete important admissions and enrollment steps, all in one day.”

Brommeland added, “Those attending the Dec. 5 event can learn more about their career interests through career exploration, meet with an academic advisor, register for spring classes that begin on Jan. 13, and more!”

Participants can register for the event at IvyTech.edu/eeday. Ivy Tech recommends that students come with a government-issued photo identification, 2017 and 2018 tax information, and SAT/ACT/PSAT scores and/or high school or college transcripts.

Those who register in advance and attend will be entered in a drawing for a 3-credit hour Ivy Tech scholarship to be used at Ivy Tech locations in Kokomo, Logansport, and Peru. The 100th visitor for the day will receive a $20 gift card to our campus Barnes & Noble bookstore.  Hot chocolate will be available for participants from 5 to 8 p.m. (while supplies last).
