Ivy Tech sets extended admissions/advising hours for fall semester enrollment

KOKOMO, Ind. — Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo Region is extending admissions/advising office hours at its Kokomo, Logansport and Wabash campuses to assist students during the final two weeks of enrollment for fall semester.

The campuses will extend office hours Monday through Thursday until 6 p.m. the weeks of Aug. 11 and 18. The campuses also will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, Aug. 16 and 23. The Peru Instructional site will have extended hours for enrollment activities until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, Aug. 12 and 19, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16.

For those students who need to take any or all of the College’s placement assessment, the campuses’ Learning Resource Center (LRC) hours will be as follows:

  • Kokomo: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays for the weeks of Aug. 11 and 18. Students should arrive three hours prior to closing to take the assessment.
  • Logansport: open during the admissions/advising hours noted above by appointment only.
  • Peru: by appointment. Call 765-473-7281, ext. 301

Most students require two to four hours to complete all three sections of the Accuplacer assessment. Schedule your time accordingly.
