Ivy Tech’s Peru Instructional Site sets open house for June 3

‘Go Ivy Day’ will offer a look at wide range of educational opportunities

PERU, Ind. — Ivy Tech Community College’s Peru Instructional Site will open its doors to the Peru community June 3 to give prospective students and interested area residents a chance to see the many opportunities it offers for personal and career advancement.

The “Go Ivy Day” event is set for 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, at the instructional site at 425 W. Main St. Representatives of the Nursing and Culinary Arts programs based at the Peru site, as well as representatives of the wide variety of academic and technical programs offered within the College’s Kokomo Region, will be on hand to offer information and answer questions. Door prizes, giveaways and refreshments are planned.

“Ivy Tech is proud to be an integral part of the Peru and Miami County community,” said Theresa Murphy, executive director of the Peru Instructional Site. “We are always changing to bring new opportunities here and an open house like this gives us the chance to share our many offerings with the public. We look forward to greeting high school students, parents, community members – anyone interested in how we can help in their development and the development of the region.”
