Ivy Tech Kokomo, Logansport set Saturday hours to wrap up spring registration

KOKOMO, Ind. — Ivy Tech Community College’s Student Affairs offices at the Kokomo and Logansport campuses will have special office hours Saturday, Jan. 4, for students who need to wrap up the enrollment process for spring semester, which begins Jan. 13.

The Kokomo office, 1901 E. Morgan St., will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The Logansport office, in the main campus building, will be open from 8 a.m. to noon.

“With the holidays over, thoughts are turning to school again. We are extending hours to accommodate people’s busy schedules,” said Susan Maxson, director of Academic Advising. “Staff will be on hand to assist with advising, scheduling and financial aid. We encourage all students who have any loose ends to take advantage of these extended hours.”

Maxson noted that students in good academic standing at other colleges and universities are invited to look into Ivy Tech’s guest student offerings. “We are seeing a trend in increased enrollment of guest students,” she said. “Guest students can take classes at Ivy Tech, including online courses, while enrolled at other institutions. It can be a convenient and cost-effective way to complete needed credits.”
