Register now for the TechKNOWFest/Punkin’ Chunkin’ photo contest

KOKOMO, Ind. — Entries are now being accepted for the 2013 photography exhibit and contest sponsored by Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo Region’s Visual Communications program in conjunction with the annual TechKNOWFest/Punkin’ Chunkin’ event. This year’s TechKNOWFest is set for Nov. 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

tabloid insert.inddThe photography contest is open to Ivy Tech students and alumni, including dual enrollment students in graphics courses at the Century, Heartland and Kokomo Area career centers, as well as faculty and staff and their immediate families. Entries are due Monday, Nov. 4. Complete registration information and guidelines can be found at http://ivytech.edu/kokomo. Just click on the TechKNOWFest/Punkin’ Chunkin’ logo.

The contest will be divided into two main divisions, with two categories in each:

  • Color
    Portrait
    Landscape
  • Black and White
    Portrait
    Landscape

Awards are presented in each division and category along with a People’s Choice Award with voting by participants at TechKNOWFest. Proceeds from the activity will go to a program that provides support for people with diabetes.
