Ivy Tech to host FREE college transfer fair

LOGANSPORT, Ind. — Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo Region will hold a college transfer fair on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 from noon until 6:30 p.m. at the Logansport campus. Representatives from over 10 colleges and universities throughout the state of Indiana will be available.

Attending colleges will offer information about majors and programs, the availability of scholarships and the transfer of Ivy Tech Community College degrees and courses to their institutions. Information about admissions, registration requirements and deadlines will also be on hand.

“Students will be able to have their questions answered and get information. If they want to bring their unofficial transcript, they will be able to do so and have that reviewed,” said Suzanne Dillman, associate vice chancellor of student affairs.

Colleges and universities attending include, but not limited to: Indiana State University, Indiana University Kokomo, Indiana Wesleyan University, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, Trine University, University of Indianapolis, University of Saint Francis, Western Governors University, Purdue University College of Technology Kokomo and more.

The event is free and open to the public. The transfer fair will be held on the second floor of the rotunda at the Logansport campus. The college is located at 1 Ivy Tech Way, Logansport, IN 46947.
