Ivy Tech to offer Certified Logistics Associate course

KOKOMO, Ind. — Ivy Tech Community College will be offering a Certified Logistics Associate course in Kokomo through its Department of Workforce and Economic Development.

The CLA training course provides preparation for the industry-recognized, nationally-portable CLA credentials by focusing on the global supply chain and logistics environment, material-handling equipment, safety and quality principles, workplace communications, problem solving, and the use of computers.

The course will be offered from 2 to 6 p.m., July 11–14, 18–21, 25 and 26. The course fee is $895.
