Ivy Tech to offer an Outsmart Your Smartphone course

KOKOMO, Ind. — Ivy Tech Community College will be offering an Outsmart Your Smartphone course in Kokomo beginning Jan. 20 through its Department of Workforce and Economic Development. The course is intended to help participants learn how to access and use the most popular features of new smartphones.

The course will include information about service carriers; information syncing; how to access and use audio and video; maintenance; and basic phone applications. Participants also will learn about emerging technologies, models, and features common to all phones.

The course will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on consecutive Thursdays, Jan. 20 and 27. The course fee is $35.
